Portrait exhibit of Burlington Seniors;
by EMS student photographers

Burlington seniors are the focus of a unique photo exhibit that is the result of a year-long project of 8th graders from Edmunds Middle School's Renaissance Team. Every three to four weeks, students build relationships with residents at six of Burlington's residential nursing homes, through storytelling, games, art projects and a digital camera. The 31 portraits represent the students' creative vision and the friends whose lives and personalities they came to know.

The exhibit "Bridging Generations" opens Friday, May 5, and runs through May 26 at the Firehouse Center for the Visual Arts on the second floor.
