BURLINGTON SUPPORTS EXCELLENT SCHOOLS
Thank you for your support of the schools budget!

The voters voiced resounding support for excellence in our schools, passing the budget in every ward in Burlington. City-wide, 70% of residents voted in favor of the budget. THANK YOU for the confidence you have expressed in our work on excellence and equity. This budget allows us to offer foreign languages in elementary schools, expand preschool, increase support for English Language Learners, maintain after school enrichment, provide livable wages for support staff, and continue our community-service outreach program in both middle schools. It also provides for our continued work in partnership with you - parents, community members, teachers and staff - in the development of our comprehensive plan for excellence and equity.

This week, we will begin the feasibility phase with Frank Locker, of DEJONG.Locker, who will lead the visioning and facility master planning this spring. Read More There will continue to be many opportunities for your participation and review.
