Clinic Goals: To provide dental services to Burlington students who otherwise would not receive them. Having a dental clinic in our school means kids have easier access to dental care. Why in the Who can be served? The Wheeler clinic can provide about 750 students with two dental checkups per year. Those who are uninsured or insured by Medicaid or Dr. Dynasaur can get services either at the Wheeler clinic (students in Grades K-8) or at Community Health Center of Burlington. How does it
work? The
Wheeler clinic is open from noon to 4 p.m. Interpreters are
available to translate for children and parents who do not speak
English. If
parents are unavailable, transportation between the student’s home
school and the clinic can be provided by Medicaid.
