Kindergarten Registration

Welcome class of 2021! Please register your child who will turn 5 by Sept 1, and bring a copy of their birth certificate and immunization records. An open house will be held at each school later this spring.

Sister Schools and Variances

The Burlington school board and administration have made a commitment to keep class sizes low, with an emphasis on smaller primary class sizes. To do this, we have created a "sister school" model designed to give us flexibility. Sister schools are two Burlington schools who "share" a region of the city and work together to balance class sizes.Read More

SCHOOL SCHEDULE

School start and dismissal times are:

  • Elementary Schools: 8:10 - 2:30
  • Edmunds Middle School: 8:00 - 2:45
  • Hunt Middle School 6th Grade: 7:50 - 2:40
  • Hunt Middle School 7-8 Grade: 7:55 - 2:45.
  • Burlington High School:  8:00 - 2:55.
