
The Division of Continuing Education, in the Burlington
School District, provides the opportunity for adults to continue
the process of education,
either for job skill attainment, high school diploma requirements or for recreational purposes.
We also provide courses for high school students to complete graduation requirements and to make up lost credits.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Income elibible students may receive tuition assistance through the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC)
as part of their Non-Degree Grant Program. For more information, please contact the VSAC office at 655-9602.
SENIOR CITIZENS - TUITION FREE POLICY - SENIOR CITIZENS
Any Senior Citizen of Burlington may participate in some Evening Division courses TUITION FREE (except for books and supply costs). The only requirements are: 1) that adequate proof of age (65 or older) is presented; 2)that adequate proof of residence of Burlington is presented; 3) that there is a sufficient number of regular paying students enrolled to allow the course to be offered; 4) that selection of students will be made on a first-come, first-paid basis where class size limits number; 5) some courses, such as computer courses, may not be available. TUITION REFUND POLICY
Once the semester begins tuition refunds will not be available. However, Tuition Credits will be provided as appropriate.

educational, business and
industry, trades and crafts community. Academic classes are taught by professional teachers who are trained and
State Certified
in their particular subject areas.
