Meet Superintendent Collins
 

I have been the Superintendent of Burlington Schools since 2005, after joining the district in 2000 as Director of Special Services. I have lived in Vermont for the past 15 years. I am passionate about working with our teachers, families and community partners to ensure that every child succeeds. I am committed to developing an educational system that will enable us to reach our comprehensive community vision for Excellence and Equity.

Burlington Schools serve nearly 4000 students in grades pre-kindergarten to 12, across 10 campuses. Our mission is to prepare all students for success in college, careers and citizenship through access to challenging core academic instruction, enriched arts, math, sciences and wellness experiences, and opportunities to develop 21st century skills.
