Adding a Copier as a local printer

Solution

 Add a copier with features: Punch Hole, Staple, etc

1. Go to “My Computer/R:/Printers/CanonImagerunners/”
2. a. If you are on Windows XP. It means that your bottom left corner looks like the picture below. If you are on Windows 7, go to step 2.b.

 

Click on folder “UFRII_v20.70_Setup”, Double click “setup.exe

 

2. b: If you are on Windows 7 computer. It means that your bottom left corner looks like the picture below:

 Click on folder “UFRII_v20.70_Setup_x64” Double click “setup.exe

3. May take a few seconds to open. Setup wizard will open. “Next”
4. Click “Yes” on the license agreement
5. Select “Search for Network Printers to Install”
6. Click “next” on the “Select Process” page.


Double Click the correct Copier you want added. For example “BHS-C113-ir6075”

The installer utility will only search your school for copiers in your building. Your list may look slightly different.

7. Click” next “  It will take a few seconds. “Start”, “Yes”
8. Uncheck “Restart My Computer Now”. “Exit”. “No”
9. Go to start, settings, printers and faxes
10. Right-click on the copier that you just installed. For Example “BHS-C113-ir6075”
11. “Printer Properties”, “Device Settings”, Get Device Status”,  “Yes” “Ok"
12. Select the copier as a default. Repeat steps 11-12. And choose “Set as default printer”


Congratulations! Enjoy printing from your computer to the copier!
